Online English Speaking Classes for Children Aged 8 to 14

Little Voices helps children practise speaking, listening and storytelling in live online sessions. It is a communication confidence programme — not exam prep, not English tuition.

Is this for you?

A little encouragement goes a long way.

Little Voices is built for children who hold back — because they are unsure of their words, because no one has made it feel safe to try, or because they have plenty to say but need the confidence to say it. Sessions are 45 minutes each, live online, and designed so that every child ends on something they did well. No tests. No pressure. Just steady, purposeful practice in a safe space.

For children aged 8–14 who would benefit from a supportive space to express themselves, take part in a group and grow comfortable speaking English.

How it’s customised

A plan built from a real assessment.

Before Session 1, Shruti runs a relaxed, game-format baseline evaluation with your child and a brief conversation with you. It looks at speaking confidence, vocabulary range, listening comprehension, storytelling ability and physical presence — eye contact, posture, expression. From this, a personalised plan is drawn up and reviewed every 4–6 sessions.

Programme structure — phase plan.

Exact activities and pace within each phase are customised to each child.

Check-in & celebrate

At Sessions 6, 12 and 18: a mini showcase — a confidence milestone, not a test.

The extended (40-session) programme is recommended when the baseline assessment shows gaps across multiple areas together — vocabulary, confidence and physical presence. Speak to Shruti about which programme fits your child’s starting point.
